CorpWatch Lists

WELCOME to the lists.corpwatch.org list and groupware server, powered by the Custom NPOGroups service of Electric Embers. Please see Electric Embers services page if you would like information about hosting your organization's lists, either in a customized domain like this one or in our general domain.

Administration:
If you have an Electric Embers billing account (not just an NPOGroups login) and need help managing groups, please see the NPOGroups Administrator's Guide

Accounts:
To control your subscriber options or access private groups to which you belong, you must first create an account at lists.corpwatch.org and login -- we require nothing other than your email address, and if you guard that carefully you might be interested in our Privacy Policy. If you have already subscribed to a group, then you already have an account and a password, which you should have been sent when you joined; if you have no idea what it is, just click the Request password box on the login page and it will be sent to you. Once you login, you can change your password from your Preferences page.

Email Commands:
Most list functions (for users and admins) are available by email as well as through the Web. For starters, you can subscribe and unsubscribe to an imaginary list called "groupname" by sending any email to groupname-subscribe@lists.corpwatch.org or groupname-unsubscribe@lists.corpwatch.org, from the address you want subscribed. More generally, any list command (most are standard) can be sent to the address sympa@lists.corpwatch.org or listserv@lists.corpwatch.org, either in the subject line or in the body of the message. To get a complete listing of recognized email commands, send a message to sympa@lists.corpwatch.org with the command help in the subject or body (or else view it here).

Address Changes:
To change the email address that is subscribed to any group, go to your Preferences page. Changing your address here will change your subscription to all groups on this server.

Please see the NPOGroups Administrator's Guide first if you have questions about other technical issues, such as importing subscribers or accepting subscriptions through your Web site. If you don't find the answers there, please write us.
